So...the doctor was right. Our sweet baby girl was born early. Two and a half weeks early. I love that our children are just as impatient as we are and decide to come early but, more importantly, healthy. Addison was born on October 27 at 6:08am. She weighed 6lbs 3oz and was 19 3/4in long, and she was just as beautiful as she was tiny. We are so happy to have her here! JJ just loves her and gives her kisses and hugs and holds her as often as he can. She is such a mellow baby and we are so lucky to have such a precious little girl in our family.
I am debating whether I am going to post her birth story, so stay tuned...
Last week was another special day: my birthday! Jared had to work that night so he bought me flowers and balloons and made me a yummy steak lunch. That night my mom and Glenn took the kids and me out to my favorite Mexican restaurant. It was a little crazy with both kids, but it was fun and really yummy! The next night, Jared took me to Kyotos, a Japanese tepanyaki restaurant that I had been wanting to go to since we moved to Boise. We had such a good time and it was really fun watching them cook our food. (Side note: Jared and I both caught the shrimp in our mouths. We were so proud.)
